Alice got to go to a concert. We met Ellie there, it was fun.
On the way to the venue we saw a large fire truck. Alice did the right thing and asked for a horn blast with the universally-accepted hand motion. They granted her request, and she jumped out of her skin. It was a good way to start the evening.
